The Friends and Relationships Course (FRC) is designed to strengthen the knowledge, skills, and resources of people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. We aim to bring fulfillment and satisfaction to their lives and increase their participation in community life.

Our Teachers

Jessa Walker
MA, LMHC, FRC Certified
Jessa graduated from Northern Arizona University in 2008 with an MA in Counseling. She specializes in working with adoptive families, adoption, and children with attachment issues

Maureen Johnson
MA, LMHC, FRC Certified
Maureen is originally from the Chicagoland area of Illinois, and now calls the mountains of New Mexico home. Maureen graduated from the University of New Mexico with an MA in Counseling in 2016. Maureen is also a licensed School Counselor and Mental Health Counselor.

✓ PLEASE VERIFY CORRECT PROVIDER CODE & INCENTIVE RATE ON THE BUDGET
✓ All students must have a support person attend and participate. This excludes experienced peer mentors. Case managers and other IDT members are welcome to observe.
